Withers Wool is located in beautiful Woodbine, Maryland

Come visit the farm! All visitors are welcome to get a tour of the farm and see the Angora Goats, Merino Sheep, Blue Cochin Chickens and Peacocks. A favorite activity is to feed the Angora Goats tortilla chips! Come inside the renovated bank barn, which is our shop, to see the various yarns and fiber creations (shawls, blankets, scarfs, hats, etc.) Spinners are welcome to interact with our spinning wheels and weavers can see the various weaving projects ongoing.

Groups of all types are welcome. Many groups have come and used our facilities and equipment to make things - coasters, felted shawls and bowls to name just a few.

The farm is 4 miles north off I 70, west of Baltimore and the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival fairgrounds. We are an hour north of Washington, DC.

Directions: From I 70 in Baltimore, go west to the Woodbine Road, Rt 94 exit. Go north on Woodbine for approximately 4 miles. 6401 is on the right. There is now an official green street sign at the entrance to the driveway saying “Withers Wool.” The shop is the huge red barn at the end of the drive. Park anywhere in front of it.
