Welcome to Withers Wool and Farm in Woodbine, Maryland
Withers Wool and Farm is a fiber farm that raises Merino Sheep and Angora goats and specializes in handspun freeform yarns, mill spun yarns, roving and a variety of finished products; our focus is on skin-soft yarns and roving as well as unique hand-made items. All the wool and mohair come from the fiber produced by the animals at the farm and no pesticides are used on the farm.
Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-4 or by appointment. We will be closed this Friday, 7 November (for set up), and Saturday, 8 November, for the Maryland Alpaca and Fleece Festival.

Withers Wool is more than a yarn shop. It's a whole experience! The shop is located on a beautiful farm where the animals the fiber comes from live. You are able to purchase fiber in any form from off the animal, to batting to finished yarns. Withers wool is such a fun destination. The fiber art is exquisite. The property is gorgeous and very inviting. The peacocks, goats, sheep and chickens are so much fun and the pond, water feature and pollinator garden is magnificent. Marc Withers is a very gracious host and his enthusiasm for the fiber and the farm are contagious. Definitely worth the trip!
If you need some of the best wool ever with the most knowledgeable people this is where to go and get it. Plus they've fun animals.
This is a fabulous place to visit. You can enjoy a rustic environment while choosing a vast and beautiful array of handcrafted yarn. The artwork is stunning. It is worth the trip.
