Come visit and experience a fiber farm! All visitors are welcome to get a tour of the farm and see the Angora Goats, Merino Sheep, Blue Cochin Chickens and Peacocks. A favorite activity is to feed the Angora Goats tortilla chips! Come inside the renovated bank barn, which is our shop, to see and feel the various yarns, roving/batts, mohair locks and fiber creations - shawls, blankets, scarfs, hats, etc: Local Store Spinners are welcome to interact with our spinning wheels and weavers can see the various weaving projects ongoing.

Groups of all types are welcome. Many groups have come and used our facilities and equipment to make things - coasters and felted shawls to name just a few - in one of our classes/workshops. Classes and Workshops Various school groups have visited the farm for a tour, to learn about fiber processing, and done a short project.

There are a variety of interesting local attractions close to Withers Wool and Farm. If you like hiking and boating activities, check out Piney Run Park. A good local restaurant is Tony Locos Bar & Restaurant. A popular spot for seasonal "pick-your-own" produce nearby is Larriland Farm. And the nearby town of Lisbon has a variety of antique shops.

Directions: From I 70 in Baltimore, go west to the Woodbine Road, Rt 94, exit. Go north on Woodbine Road for approximately 4 miles. 6401 is on the right. There is a green street sign at the entrance to the driveway saying “Withers Wool.” The shop is the huge red barn at the end of the drive. Park anywhere in front of it.
