Events for Withers Wool and Farm

Following is our poster with info for a TourdeFleece team in 2026 with info about challenge days and how this will unfold with the Fiber Farms and Friends team. And the Tic-Tac-Toe game board to win prizes!

External Fiber Shows in 2026:

The first external show I will be at in 2026 is the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival which will take place on 2-3 May at the Howard County Fairgrounds. This is the 53rd annual festival; as normal it is the first week of May. The festival includes over 250 vendors, 600+ sheep, 40+ workshops, "Sheep to Shawl" competitions, and agricultural seminars. Tickets are available online ($12.50 + fees) or at the gate ($15.00), with free admission for those under 18. As in past years, Withers Wool and Farm will be in the Main Exhibition Hall, booth B06 (as you enter the Main hall, go the left and look for us on the right, up 6 booths from the entrance). The festival is open 8:30 to 5:00 both days. Withers Wool and Farm will be closed on Friday 1 May, to set up, and Saturday, 2 May, while at the show.

The Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival is on 26 and 27 May in Berryville, VA.

The (fall) Frederick Fiber Fest is on 24 October at the Frederick Fairgrounds.

The Maryland Fleece and Alpaca Festival is on 14 and 15 November at the Howard County Fairgrounds.
