Settling in for the Winter

When it gets too cold to go out and play with the animals and garden. I turn to indoor projects. I am busy dyeing mohair locks and listing them in my shop on Etsy. I have moved my Majacraft Dynamic Heddle Loom to the house and my focus is on finishing up a few woven items.

Dyed Mohair locks

This is the time when I feel relaxed enough to just spin yarn and design new items. I am currently working on a sweater jacket. It is already half done and the yarn is all spun. It is older mohair, so not next to the skin wearable, but it is a whole lot nicer than I expected. The sheen of mohair always surprises me. My next post will include a photo of the jacket. Still debating about arm sleeves since it automatically loses its one size fits all category.
