2 Ply Worsted Yarn; Grey - Grey Merino and Mohair and Sari Silk

$50.00

This yarn is composed of 60% grey Merino, 25% grey Mohair and 15% “aquarium” Sari Silk; each skein weighs ~ 4 oz and is ~ 200 yards. The Sari Silk is smooth and soft and adds flecks of color to the yarn. Blended together this mixture provides a colorful yarn that is soft and light yet strong, hard-wearing and moisture-wicking. The color of the yarn comes from the natural colors of the Merino and Mohair and the flecks of Sari Silk.

The purchase price is for one skein of yarn. There are multiple skeins of this yarn available that come from the same lot and can be considered practically identical.

For worsted weight yarn, you typically use circular or straight needles, generally size US 7 to 9 (4.5-5.5 mm), to achieve a gauge of about 4 to 5 stitches per inch (or 16-20 stitches per 4 inches), but check your pattern for specific recommendations and knit a test swatch.
