We had a good turnout for the Demo Day at Withers Wool on 8 October. Over 30 people dropped by and engaged with the fiber artists and tried their hand on various activities; spinning, weaving, carding, and needle-felting. We also received a lot of input on classes people were interested in.
We are going to resume classes and other events at Withers Wool. The first class will be a Beginning Spinning class on Saturday 19 November 12 to 2. (See the Classes Tab for more information and to register if interested.) We will also be having other classes - Needle Felting, Weaving, Crochet, Wet Felting, etc. - dates TBD.
On Saturday 17 December we will have a Carding Day where you will be able to make your own batts. More information about this will be posted as we get closer to that date.
Fall shearing of the Angora Goats has commenced and a few dates (posted on Facebook) were announced where folks could watch. Some people did attend and got to see some kid does being sheared.
